Hair Roller Results + Garnier Fructis Curl Construct Mousse review (pic heavy)

This morning, i took my hair down and i was so satisfied with  the results! My hair wasn't totally curl, it was wavy as most. Which is exactly what i was hoping for. c:

Here are the results:

I used Garnier Fructis Cult Construct Mousse extra strong when i rolled my hair. I've used mousse before, but not by Garnier.

Price: ♥♥♥♥♥
It's super adorable! I got it a Dollar General for $3.56

Packaging: ♥♥♥♥♥
It comes in a shiny, tall, neon green can and the words are in attractive fonts and color. Every appealing to the brain. The nozzle on the top makes it really easy to get the mousse out of the can, plus it matches the can.

Product Quality: ♥♥♥♡♡
It was extremely sticky when i was applying it, stickier than some of the other one's i've used. It actually held really well until i want outside. Most of my hair fell flat, expect the places where i applied it the most. But was 7 am when i went outside and the humidity is already at 74%. I probably didn't apply enough product for it to outlast the humidity for today. I'm also not too found of the small. Usually Garnier's products smell better.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♡
I really like this product and i'll continue to use it. I would recommend this product to a friend. It's defiantly great for only costing about $4.

Using Hair Rollers for the first time.

My grandmother gave me a ton of brand new hair rollers that she never used, so i decide to roll my hair for the first time tonight! After taking a shower and washing my hair real good, i sat at my vanity for about thirty minuets, bathed my hair and muse then rolled it up and then threw a hair cap over it. xD i feel so aged! I even put on a face mask to make it more realistic. (i was going for the 50's house wife look.)

Anyway, i'll post picture tomorrow about how it turned it. c: If it goes good, this might become a regular thing!

Here are some horrible pictures i took right when i finished. x3

Flea Market Dreaming

This post is more for to brainstorm my goals about my flea market idea and read them back just to kinda see where i'm at on this. I'd love opinions, thought!

My dream is to open a clothing boutique that sells kawaii and grunge fashion and accessories. Unfortunately, i wasn't born into a wealthy family and i've only had to jobs in my life making chump change. :'c So my funds are extremely limited and i have to put my dreams on hold. -sigh- It's quit heartbreaking but i know as long as i'm patient and persistent, this will happen for me.

One thing i've been thinking about for years is opening a booth at a flea market. It'll be a way for me to sell my products and save up to one day buy my own building. c: I've thought about selling online but i enjoy seeing my customers in person. I've learned this from working at JCPenney, haha. I'm thinking of partnering up with my friend Samantha to run the booth with me. This will not only help me learn more about partnerships but also help me learn more about the teamwork of business. Plus, creating this business partnership may be helpful for both of us in the future.

Of course, i need to stop day dreaming about the ideas and actually scout for a flea market and talk to the owners about a booth. I also have to see about the permits needed to sell. Since it's spring going into Summer here in America, there'll be bigger traffic in the markets. Since i'm almost 100% positive no one else sells my ideal products but i know there's a market for them, i feel like this would be a pretty good investment. Since it's a low cost start up, there isn't an dangerously huge risk as buying a building would be. It'll help me see what owning a small business is like.

Aside from daydreaming about what our booth will look like, i've been studying Entrepreneur and Business websites all day. I feel it's necessary to educate myself on these topics to help me understand about being a business owner. If i get as much information as i can, I can drastically limit the amount of surprises in the future and better address the situations when surprises come up. It'll give me better expectations and help me better plan the foundation for my store. I don't mind reading a lot, though. I love to learn! I actually never had an interest in economics or finance until I discovered my dream. Now, i'm incredibly interested in them because they're very important in starting and running a business.

Enough grown-up talk. Let's get to the fun stuff! I know it sounds like kawaii/grunge isn't exactly the greatest combination, but i believe this could work. I already know there's a kawaii scene and a grunge scene in my city, so i have my target audience. Yes, these are just trends and will probably fade away over the next few years. That's okay with me. I can adjust the products as newer ones become "trendy." As long as i have alternative people searching for clothes, i'll be able to sell! Plus, if this truly works out, i'll have chances to expand geographically.

Kawaii grunge. hmm. How to that work? Well, one side of the store/boot will decorated really cute and will sell the cute clothes, shoes, maybe food. The other side will be dark and will sell the grunge stuff, including posters and other music related items. That way, it's a lot easier for the customers who are looking for the specific style can find what they're looking for. I think it's going to be lovely. The kawaii side will feature a lot of fairy kei and pastel goth inspired fashions. The grunge will feature the typical grunge products as well as soft grunge products. I'm getting exited just picturing it!

My head is swimming from the idea flow here, so i'm going to go to bed now. Thank you for reading and if you give me feedback. It helps to hear how people respond to my ideas.

Love,

Kittie
